Grad Season Is Here: Your Outfit Guide From the Jaffi's Girls

Graduation is in May, and it sneaks up fast (something you are probably feeling already! One minute you have time, the next you are scrambling for something to wear. Fear not, the Jaffi's girls are here to help!

You want an outfit that looks good in photos and does NOT annoy you all day. You will sit, stand, walk, hug people, and take a lot of pictures, so it's important to plan for that.

Here are a few options that would be more than perfect for the occasion:

The Classic White Dress

A white dress always works! There's a reason why everyone does it. Mini, maxi, strapless, eyelet, the options are truly endless.

It looks great under your gown, photographs well after, and is the definition of timeless. 

In this case, simple = best. 

Alternatively, this butter yellow option is so beautiful and feels adjacent to the classic white graduation dress. 

The Black Dress

A black dress feels a little cooler and more unexpected.

It is less expected for graduation, which makes it stand out without doing too much. Also, if you have plans after, you are already dressed for it! This would be a great option. Or this. Keep the shape clean and let it do its thing.

Matching Sets

I loveeee a matching set for any grad-related event! Similar to the black dress, it's unexpected, which is truly part of its charm. 

A matching set with longer shorts feels styled with zero effort. It looks intentional without feeling overdone, which is ideal for grad pictures or your party. It is one of those outfits that makes people think you planned ahead (which I guess, if you're reading this you technically did, but STILL! a great option.)

Graduation Day vs. Pictures

You do not need to wear the same outfit for everything.

For the ceremony, keep it comfortable. Make sure it sits right under your gown and you are not thinking about it all day.

For pictures, you can care a little more! Choose something you feel confident in and will like seeing later. All this to say, pick something you feel good in! That's really the most important thing for your big day.
